Advisory Committee
The business of the CLC is managed by a volunteer Advisory Committee. Membership is primarily determined by a willingness to take the time to serve and handle the sometimes mundane details of keeping the program operating.
Mission
- The mission of the Lake Oswego
Adult Computer Learning Center is to increase computer
literacy among the adult community. The center provides
instruction, discussion groups, demonstrations, lab
time, and guest speakers at little or no cost with
maximum student/teacher interaction.
- The secret mission of most of
the CLC volunteer staff is to help our members have
fun with the computer. If you are retired and no longer
have to prepare pesky word processing documents, endless
spreadsheets, or tedious engineering diagrams, come
to us to find out where the fun is.
- If you are not retired. come anyway.
We are more fun than the people at your office.
- We are part of the LO Adult Community
Center. To learn more about other ACC programs, check
out the ACC info on the City
of LO web page.
